a majority of americans agree with us according to a newly released gallup poll. 52% say they favor repealing or scaling back obama care. only 37% said it should be kept the way it is or expanded. that's not only the troubling news we have to share on a conference call with reporters today a cms spokesman said on health care.gov one of every ten transactions is experiencing errors. also according to politico things would be worse. that's worse for the administration. a new report reads enrollment surge or no the next challenge is a big one. how will the white house make sure all the people with cancelled policies get new coverage by january 1. even with the speedier newly functioning website they have a vast distance to travel before the estimated 4 to 5 million people with cancelled policies get new health care coverage. it is not out of the question that the obama administration could pace the worst case scenario on january 1 -- the number of uninsured american goes up. pathetic. we want you to join the conversation. log onto our facebook page. we hope you will share thoughts on the program

the beginning of the obama care debate i've been telling you it's not the cost of the health insurance that will be the main problem. yes, the cost is going to go higher for working americans, no question, but it is access to doctors that will vex americans in the future. in the next five weeks millions of americans will be added to the medicaid rolls. next year the congressional budget office predicts that 9 million more people will be receiving medicaid. just 69 percent of american doctors accept medicaid now. that number may go lower as government payments drop. if millions are added to the medicaid rolls and two-thirds accept those patients, the lines are going to be all over the place. joining us from oklahoma city, dr. keith smith who has a surgery practice and dr. brooks. dr. brooks, you don't take medicaid health insurance at all, correct? >> that's correct, bill. >> why? >> i don't think i can do a thorough job. i don't believe in running people through my practice. i don't believe in volume practice and the new laws really would necessitate my pushing people through, not doin

the announcement on thursday that nelson mandela passed away, secret service and american military personnel were en route to prepare for president obama's arrival here. what would you compare this to in events that you worked on? the first thing for me that came in mind watching the pope in south america earlier this year, wherefore whatever reason the motorcade took a wrong turn and there was a ground swell of people who surrounded to greet him, nevertheless presenting a horrifying moment there to see the pope and his vehicle completely surrounded by hundreds of people. >> yes, in my experience the only events that come to mind, the pope's funeral, funeral of princess diana and mother theresa. the ones i worked on in particular that were most analogous were the funerals of prime minister in israel, which was a very short notice, of course, and tragic event. king hassan in morocco and king husse hussein in jordan. there is an amount of chaos given the complexity of the undertaking and compressed time lines in planning these pieces. in the case of mandela funeral, they have had a number of months

straight from the obama administration. joining us to weigh in is al from the american eagle foundation and challenger, the bald eagle. good morning to you. >> hey, good morning, steve. how are you today? >> i'm doing okay, although i'm a little puzzled by this new thing that the obama administration has finalized, a rule to give energy companies permits for wind farms that wind up killing bald eagles. explain how this would work. >> first off, i think this is appalling and outrageous. i don't think it's good conservation policy. i think this is a lot of politics and believe me, i educate people on both sides of the aisle. i've been saving eagles for over 30 years. it took us over 30 years to bring the eagle back from the brink of extinction, a lot of work by hundreds of conservation groups and thousands of individuals across the country that put their heart and soul. and to do this, to give power companies a 30-year hunting license essentially to kill eagles and other birds is -- i think we're opening a pandora's box that will kill millions of birds over the next 30 years. tens of mill

the president is campaigning but all the talk in the world may not make a difference. >> obama thinks that he can repeal reality with rhetoric. i mean, after all, one thing he can really do well is campaign. that's undeniable. he's one of the great campaigners in american history. he twice won the presidency. his trouble is he has a little bit of trouble governing. here he's faced with a management problem, a government problem. he passed a bill that is so complex, the regulations are so complex and contradictory, he's got a website that is not functioning correctly, and he thinks that if he makes the right speeches, he says the right words, somehow it will change perception. but here he runs up against the wall. >> the perception is across the country is that so far it's been a joke and that's why the president yesterday started what will be a three-week push to get people to sign up. one of the problems is when they sign up, they sign up with an insurance company. the insurance company, the back end of the website, the so-called back end, mr. krauthammer referred to that last night, as the
